Drive Manali → Jobra — Trek to Chika (16 km Drive + 3 km Trek)
Meet the team in Manali and drive through scenic pine forests to Jobra (9,800 ft). Begin the trek through easy forest trails, cross Rani Nallah stream, and reach the beautiful Chika campsite surrounded by grasslands and mountain peaks.
Chika → Balu Ka Ghera (7 km Trek)
Trek along the beautiful Rani River through rocky trails, spot Himalayan marmots and mountain goats, cross boulder sections, and arrive at Balu Ka Ghera — a wide open valley cradled by snow-covered peaks. One of the most scenic campsites in Himachal.
Balu Ka Ghera → Hampta Pass (14,100 ft) → Shea Goru (7 km Trek)
The highlight day! Start early and climb through snow patches to reach Hampta Pass at 14,100 ft — panoramic views of Lahaul Valley await. After crossing, the green landscape transforms into cold desert. Descend to Shea Goru beside a glacier river.
Shea Goru → Chatru + Chandratal Lake Drive (7 km Trek)
Downhill trek through rocky mountain paths and glacier streams to Chatru (11,000 ft). Drive to the stunning Chandratal Lake (Moon Lake) and soak in its breathtaking blue waters before returning to camp at Chatru.
Drive Back to Manali — Trek Ends (65 km Drive)
After breakfast, begin the scenic 65 km drive back to Manali through Atal Tunnel or Rohtang Pass (weather-dependent). Arrive in Manali by afternoon with memories to last a lifetime.
