A carefully designed short trek that packs maximum beauty into 4 days — perfect for a long weekend getaway.
Drive from Dehradun / Rishikesh / Haridwar → Raithal Village (185 km)
Early morning pickup and a scenic mountain drive through Mussoorie, Uttarkashi, and Bhatwari to the beautiful Garhwali village of Raithal (7,200 ft). En route — Kimadi Waterfall stop, Suwakholi viewpoint, and stunning views of the Maneri Lake. Arrive by evening, dinner and overnight at a traditional homestay or guesthouse surrounded by Himalayan forests.
Raithal → Gui Campsite (8–10 km Trek · ~9,800 ft)
After breakfast, the trek begins from Raithal village through dense oak and rhododendron forests. The trail climbs gradually — perfect for beginners — with cool forest air, bird calls, and glimpses of the Himalayan peaks growing larger with every step. Arrive at the Gui campsite near the treeline by afternoon. Camp overnight under a brilliant star-filled sky.
Gui → Dayara Bugyal (11,830 ft) → Back to Gui (6–8 km)
The highlight day! After breakfast, ascend from Gui through the upper treeline to the legendary Dayara Bugyal — one of the largest alpine meadows in the Garhwal Himalayas. Spend hours exploring the vast open grasslands with jaw-dropping 360° views of Bandarpoonch, Black Peak (Kalanag), Srikanth, and Draupadi Ka Danda. Return to Gui for a warm camp dinner and second night under the stars.
Gui → Raithal (Descent) → Drive Back to Dehradun / Rishikesh / Haridwar
Morning breakfast at Gui, then descend through the beautiful forest trail back to Raithal. A final lunch in the village, followed by the scenic drive back through the Uttarkashi valleys and Mussoorie hills. Arrive at Dehradun / Rishikesh / Haridwar by evening — carrying memories that will last a lifetime.
