Know Before You Go

  • The trek will be performed according to State-Government guidelines. Participants are advised to follow these guidelines, as violation will result in strict action, including discontinuing participation.
  • Always carry a valid ID with you.
  • As the temperature can drop very low, carrying enough warm clothes and proper trekking shoes is advised.
  • Using earphones during the trek is not advisable, as they might hinder your audibility. Participants must carry battery back-ups if they want to carry other electronics, as electricity will be available only at a few locations, including the campsites.
  • We offer an eco-friendly experience to our customers, ensuring that we do not harm the natural balance of the trek. Littering or wasting water will not be treated kindly. Also, avoid using plastic bags wherever possible.
  • The activity intends to connect with nature and is free of modern luxuries. Participants are advised to come prepared for a more natural experience.
  • To have a freeing and comfortable experience, it is good to keep luggage to a minimum and only carry essentials.
  • While the package offers three meals, morning and evening tea/coffee and a snack daily on all days, you might want to carry some dry snacks or food from home rather than spending money on expensive shops.
  • Physical fitness is paramount to completing the trek without any medical emergencies. Therefore, it is advisable to consult a physician before trekking. Carrying basic medications and a first-aid kit with you is advisable.
  • It is not recommended that children below 7 years be brought for the winter Kuari Pass trek.
  • It is advisable not to take the trek at night unless it is in the itinerary and your trek guide is with you.
  • To maintain stamina during the activity, it is better to avoid consuming alcohol or any other intoxicants.
  • The guides and other helping staff have extensive experience in mountaineering and first aid. So to enjoy a safe and sound trek, abide by their instructions.
  • Difficulty In Completing The Activity – If participants feel uncomfortable during the activity, they may return to the base camp. However, the participant will bear all the expenses of returning to the camp. Also, there will be no refund for the remainder of the activity the participant does not partake in.
  • The guide holds the right to send a participant back to the camp if:
  1.  the participant is not fit to continue further due to health issues
  2. they were found smoking, drinking or breaking any other rule of the trek
  3. any other reason deemed fit.
  • If, for any reason, the participant does not feel comfortable participating in the activity of their own choice, they will not be eligible for a refund.
  • In case of operational restraints due to weather conditions or other reasons, the activity can be altered or canceled in real time.
